Afterdreamnoon (Charles Richard Rudalavage IV) (he/him) is from olde Fort Washington, Pennsylvania now living in the East Village, New York City.

His art speaks to the everyday moment and is based on observation from the material world.  His art is a documentation of his personal life to foster uniqueness between pieces. He attempts to balance subject matter with colors and medium. He documents the mundane as well as fantastical experiences of dreams and what could be; Expressing the clash between the rich and poor, the sociable versus an outcast, the water and sand. His work includes notes of queerness and unsatisfactory relationships in an age where most connections begin on a mobile device.

With a broad range of work, Charlie jumps from a paint brush, to photography, to performing in a play, to scribbling in a notebook, to reading poetry aloud under a tree.

He received a Bachelor's of Art from the small liberal art's college, Wagner College. He studied fine art at the Instituto Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy in the Spring of 2022.

Charlie is a gallery associate at Robert Mann Gallery, a galleristo at  Schubertiade Arts & Music / "B" Dry Goods as well as a studio assistant to Diana Kurz. He has apprenticed with conceptual artist Heide Hatry, since 2021. As well as a volunteer with Polar Bear Fest in Central Park when there is snow.
